Jowaki Gardens was born from a simple, powerful belief: everyone deserves a thriving green space, no matter where they live. Whether in a rental, in their own home in the suburbs, or in a wide open shamba in the village.

What started as a personal passion for cultivating life in soil has blossomed into a mission to transform homes, balconies, compounds, and shambas across Kenya into lush, vibrant sanctuaries. We noticed that many Kenyans wanted to start gardening but felt overwhelmed by a lack of proper plant knowledge, a lack of access to high-quality seedlings, inadequate water, confusing advice, and a lack of proper gardening tools.

So, we decided to change that.
