Golden Zonal Geranium in White Planter

Add a burst of lime-green colour to a patio or balcony with this zonal geranium in a white planter. Rounded, scalloped leaves carry warm copper-brown bands that give the plant its striking patterned look, even when it is not flowering.

Photographed at Jowaki Gardens in Ting'anga, Kiambu. The white planter is included. The exact leaf pattern and shape may vary from plant to plant.

• Give it a bright spot with sunlight.
• Water when the top of the soil begins to dry; avoid waterlogging.
• Remove tired leaves to keep the plant looking neat.
