Big, glossy leaves splashed and speckled with cream and pale green on a sturdy upright stem. Dieffenbachia, also called Dumb Cane, is a bold tropical houseplant that brightens a living room, office or shaded patio.

Care tips

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun
• Water: Water when the top 2 to 3 cm of soil is dry. Don't let it sit in water
• Feeding: Feed monthly during the growing season
• Leaves: Wipe with a damp cloth and rotate the pot for even growth
